To tackle persistent water challenges in Jirgabawa community, Minjibir LGA, The Sahel Initiative delivered a solar-powered borehole, providing safe, reliable water where it’s needed most.
The community faced ongoing water scarcity, with limited access to clean, dependable sources for drinking and daily use.
We responded by installing a solar-powered borehole system, harnessing renewable energy to deliver sustainable, around-the-clock water access without reliance on unstable power or fuel sources. This project now provides long-term, eco-friendly clean water for the entire community — improving health, hygiene, and daily living while promoting environmental sustainability.
